The Chengdu Water Exhibition is Chengdu’s dedicated professional water show. It has been held for 12 editions and takes place each spring alongside the largest environmental expo in western China, organized by Sichuan Xinzhonglian Exhibition Services with local industry bodies. It provides a business platform for water-industry professionals and has grown into the leading professional water exhibition in western China.
CDWE 2016 was held on 14–16 April 2016 at Chengdu Century City New International Exhibition Center. Scale, exhibitor count and visitor numbers all reached new highs: nearly 12,000 m² of display space, 262 exhibitors from the United States, the United Kingdom, Korea, Japan, the Netherlands, Italy, Austria, China and Taiwan, and 12,829 professional visitors over three days according to a third-party count, with 65.3% from western China.
